Fr. Haluendo Amit, affectionately known as "Fr. Wen", is a Carmelite priest of the Order of Discalced Carmelites (Philippine Province) who integrates faith, intellect, and creativity. A professional Electrical Engineer, he possesses a deep passion for music and was once a member of a rock band before embracing religious life. His musical talent is reflected in his composition "Flower of Carmel," a testament to his devotion and artistry.

Beyond his priestly ministry, Fr. Wen is an educator at heart. He has taught religion to elementary students, mathematics to high school students, and electrical engineering to college and technical training students. His love for writing is evident in his contributions to Sabbath Reflection, where he shares spiritual insights and reflections. With a unique blend of technical expertise, musicality, and a passion for teaching, Fr. Wen continues to inspire and uplift those he encounters through conferences, retreats, and spiritual direction.
